6th Annual Momo Crawl 2017

November 5, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us this November 5th, as the annual Momo Crawl comes back to Jackson Heights for the 6th consecutive year! This crawl calls attention to an area featuring over 20 restaurants selling the Himalayan dumpling known as the momo, promoting local entrepreneurship, community, and culture.

Purchase your Momo Passport at MomoCrawl.com

This year, we’re excited to bring you two bus trolleys! That’s right, TWO wooden, vintage-style trolley to escort crawlers around the perimeter of the crawl for the restaurants further out. There will be music and dance from various Tibetan and Nepalese artists and other entertainment, and at the end, the new Momo Championship Belt – made of yak hide – will be awarded to the winner of the Momo Crawl.

This year is a partnership between Jeff Orlick, the founder of the Momo Crawl, and Students for a Free Tibet, an international non-profit organization that works in solidarity with the people of Tibet for their freedom. To participate in the crawl, guests purchase a $10 passport where they can then crawl by foot or trolley to over 20 restaurants selling momos for $1 each. Proceeds go to Students for a Free Tibet.
